The CPIDD conducts research and policy analysis initiatives across multiple sectors and program areas in the human services that addresses the needs of people who experience intellectual and developmental distinctions and the people who support them. CPIDD this activity is done with a specific emphasis on supports coordination and case management and direct support professionals and the organizations that employ them.

The Center for Policy in leadership development provides policy briefs literature reviews and analysis on the most innovative and disruptive theories and research in the field of leadership development. In addition, the CLD also provides consulting to small business and organization on how to build leadership capacity within the organizational structure.

NOIRE understands that human services agencies and the people who operate in them face multifaceted and complex human and organization dynamics that prevent optimal performance and producing the desired outcomes in the lives of the people they support. With a specific emphasis on organizations that support people who experience IDD/Autism CSTA also understands that these people and organization require innovative ways of thinking and acting in productive dialogue with colleagues, the people they support and key stakeholders. The Center on systems thinking and Analysis approaches these issues through the lens of system thinking and uses that lens of analysis in the development of and evaluation of organizations their structures and the people who function within them.
